Public Guided Tours at the Presidential Library

Embark on a guided tour of the Presidential Library at Plaza Singapura to discover lesser-known facts about Singapore’s Presidents. The highlights of the 30-minute guided tour will include:

• Showcase of the 9 Presidents of Singapore including write-ups and interesting facts

• Book titles and recommendations from past and present Presidents of Singapore (President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Mdm Halimah Yacob and Dr Tony Tan)

• Oral interviews featuring past and present Presidents

• Interactive quiz based on little-known facts about the Presidents

• Highlighting of 30 iconic Singaporean personalities (such as author Myle Yan Tay, musician Shabir Sulthan, athlete Nurul Suhaila, chef and restaurateur Violet Oon) through their personal book recommendations

• Physical copies of books featured available for browsing in the new reading space

There will be guided tours opened to the public at 930am, 1130am, 130pm, 330pm and 530pm*.

The meeting point is at Istana entrance near roadside pavement between the Istana driveway and Plaza Singapura (marked in red). A NLB staff member will escort the group to the Presidential Library, and it is a short walk from the Istana to Plaza Singapura.
