Khmer Silver Offering Bowl
Country: The Kingdom of Cambodia
The late Prince Norodom Sihanouk, who was the former King and Chief of Cambodia, presented this gift to the late Yang di-Pertuan Negara Encik Yusof during his three-day State Visit to Singapore in December 1962.

Dimensions: 29 × 29 × 39 cm
This silver vessel is a metalwork designed for state presentation while remaining deeply imbued with traditional Cambodian aesthetics. It is adorned with traditional floral and flame motifs executed through repoussé and chasing.
While the lid and lotus finial draw directly from classical Khmer ceremonial vessels, the overall form reflects a modern adaptation for use as high-end dining ware such as a punch bowl or as a centerpiece.
